There are two types of endive: ordinary and curly (Frisée).
Ordinary endive has a large head with rough green leaves and a yellow heart.
This leafy vegetable has a strong, fresh, spicy flavour.

Apple

The apple is the most familiar fruit to many, but did you know that it has been cultivated for thousands of years?
It was the ancient Greeks and Romans who imported them from Central Asia along the Silk Road.
As colonisation progressed, apples spread to the Americas and Africa.

Today there are some 7,000 different varieties. They vary in colour, sweetness and acidity, shape and size.
We strive to obtain high-quality apples. For example, under our own ‘Les Rives’ brand, we offer the following French varieties: Royal Gala, Golden, Granny Smith, Red Chief, Chanteclerc.
We are also proud to distribute the ‘Marlene apple’ in several Italian varieties: Royal Gala, Golden, Granny Smith, Braeburn, Fuji, etc.

Orange

Our company is renowned for its high-quality oranges, including our own ‘Les Rives’ brand.
There are 2 types of oranges: those to peel and oranges for juicing. Pressed oranges (salutiana, valecia-late, maroclate, etc.) generally contain more juice than the ones you peel (navelina, navelate, etc.).

Oranges get their beautiful orange colour from warm days and cool nights. The temperature difference ensures its beautiful colour and the ripening process. The greater the contrast between daytime and night-time temperatures, the more colourful the orange.
